Learn More About Stream Buffer Updates in Kenmore The City of Kenmore is updating its stream buffer regulations to comply with state law. Stream buffers are areas on either side of a stream that help protect water quality, support wildlife habitat, and maintain overall ecosystem health. On March 16, the City Council will consider three options for meeting state requirements. Depending on the option selected, stream buffers in Kenmore could increase to between 50 and 231 feet.
