Each January, the Kenmore Business Alliance (KBA) meets to learn about and vote on business registration revenue projects for the year.
In 2023, the City started an annual strategic planning session where KBA members vote on projects and initiatives that support the local business community and tourism. The purpose of this session is to determine how to best utilize the revenue received from the Kenmore Business Registration Program each year. The ultimate goal is to spend the revenue on projects that directly or indirectly support our local business economy.
Past projects include: 2023: New Findkenmore.org business directory 2024: Interactive kiosk at the Hangar 2025: Oktoberfest Sponsorship $5,000 & Marketing Campaign for FindKenmore.org $5,000
On January 8, KBA attendees voted to put $5,000 towards design, fabrication and installation of 20 light post banners on SR522 and $5,000 for a KBA sponsorship for the 2026 Kenmore Oktoberfest event.
The Kenmore Business Alliance (KBA) is a committee of the Bothell Kenmore Chamber of Commerce, formed to foster a thriving and connected business community in Kenmore and beyond. Professionals and business owners in Kenmore are invited to get involved with the Kenmore Business Alliance (KBA). The KBA is great opportunity to network and grow your business!
The KBA typically meets on the first Thursday of every month at Kenmore City Hall from 8:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. You do not need to be a Bothell Kenmore Chamber member to attend KBA meetings (free to attend).
Kenmore's beloved 192 Brewing Co. is shifting focus and will no longer operate the 192 Lake Trail Tap Room after January 31.
"192 Brewing Company is transforming its focus on brewing, sales, and distribution to include popup events and festivals following new directions that allow the brand to grow creatively, remain nimble, and better serve the community beyond a single location." - Derek Wyckoff, Founder and Owner
Join them for any or all of their final events planned during this month.

This past December, the City of Kenmore started a digital shopping pass program to encourage shopping local. The Holiday Savings Pass was a big win for Kenmore. More than 200 people signed up and activated the mobile pass, and participating businesses reported increased visibility during a busy season.
This is the kind of shop-local energy that makes Kenmore special: neighbors discovering new favorites, revisiting longtime staples, and choosing to keep holiday dollars close to home. Thank you to the businesses who participated in the pass and offered deals for the community.
The City is excited to bring it back with even more businesses and offers in the next iteration of the shopping pass program: The World Cup Experience Pass.
This pass will run during June and July alongside World Cup fútbol matches and beyond, with an emphasis on game-day activation and seasonal engagement for businesses.
The City is now gathering interest from businesses who would like to participate in the World Cup Experience Pass or any of our other 2026 Experience Passes. Submit your interest today using the form linked below.
