Thanks for a Great Winterfest - More Holiday Happenings Ahead
Last weekend's Winterfest event was a wonderful community celebration with over 500 attendees, amazing performances by local students, a bustling craft market, and plenty of holiday cheer. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate! Here are a few more upcoming holiday happenings in Kenmore:

• Enjoy festive fun on December 13 by volunteering at Wallace Swamp Creek Park, singing at the KWAC Caroling Paddle on the Water, and sipping at the Lodge Holiday Sip & Shop and the Bothell Kenmore Chamber Wine & Spirits Walk. You can also join community caroling on December 14, and celebrate Chanukah at the Kenmore Lanes Chanukah Bowl on December 16. 
  
  
• Keep shopping local and finding savings with the Kenmore Digital Shopping Pass. It's free to sign up and full of great deals!
  
  
• The Kenmore Holiday Food and Toy Drive is accepting toy donations at City Hall and the Hangar until December 15.
  
  
• Find the perfect tree this weekend at the Troop 420 Tree Lot at 192 Brewing.

Celebrating Detective Wilcox’s Service to Kenmore
The City of Kenmore is honored to recognize Detective Bobbi Wilcox as she retires, marking the conclusion of a distinguished career that began with the King County Sheriff’s Office in 1988. For more than 15 years, she has served as Kenmore’s sole Detective, providing award-winning investigative expertise and steadfast advocacy for crime victims. Her professionalism and dedication to public safety have left a lasting impact on both the community and the Sheriff’s Office. The City extends a heartfelt thanks to Detective Wilcox for her many years of service and wishes her all the best in retirement.

Kenmore Senior Center Food Pantry Extends Holiday Hours
Due to the overwhelming generosity of many organizations and individuals, the Kenmore Senior Center Food Pantry is offering extended holiday hours to help spread the love (and the food) into the community. The food pantry is open to all, with no registration required, and is usually open from 12:30 p.m.–2 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. Additional holiday hours include:

• Sunday, December 14, from 12:30 p.m.–2 p.m.
• Sunday, December 21, from 1 p.m.–3 p.m.
• Wednesday, December 24, from 12:30 p.m.–2 p.m.

Nominations Open for Kenmore Heritage Society McMaster Awards
The Kenmore Heritage Society (KHS) honors local residents who through selfless giving of time and talent have had a significant positive influence on the Kenmore community. Each year, KHS presents the McMaster Heritage Award for an outstanding adult, the McMaster Emerging Leader Award for ages 16 to 23, and the “Making a Difference for Businesses” Service Award recognizing exceptional contributions to Kenmore’s business community. The Kenmore Heritage Society invites the community to learn more and submit nominations for these awards here.
