Skip the Traffic—Shuttle, Walk, or Bike to Kenmore’s 4th of July Celebration! You're invited to an unforgettable night of family fun, food trucks, live music, games, and fireworks at Log Boom Park! Festivities begin at 7:30 p.m., with the fireworks show lighting up the sky at 10 p.m. Getting there is easy:
- Free shuttle service runs from the Kenmore Park & Ride to Log Boom Park starting at 6 p.m. through the end of the event.
- ADA-accessible shuttles are available; please note, no onsite ADA parking is available.
- Limited overflow parking is available at The Vine Church (shuttle does not stop there).
- Expect street closures on Bothell Way NE and 61st Ave NE beginning at 3 p.m.
- Limited parking is available on the north side of NE 175th St.
- No parking or drop-offs along Bothell Way NE.

Fireworks are Illegal in Kenmore With the 4th of July approaching, here is a reminder that per Kenmore Municipal Code 8.10, all fireworks are illegal in Kenmore. Because of the high volume of police calls on the 4th of July, please report fireworks disturbances to the non-emergency line (206-296-3311) and be patient with responses. Celebrate safely!

City Council Initiates City Manager Contract Negotiation At its June 23, 2025 meeting, the Kenmore City Council authorized staff to begin contract negotiations with Teri Killgore for the permanent City Manager position. Updates will be shared at kenmorewa.gov/news as the process moves forward.
Teri Killgore is the current Economic Development Director for the City of Scottsdale, AZ. She began in public service in 1995, and since has served as the Downtown Redevelopment Manager for the City of Chandler, Arizona, Assistant to the City Manager for the City of San Jose, and Assistant City Manager for the Cities of Vallejo, and Walnut Creek, California. Teri holds a Master of Public Administration and Bachelor's Degree in Sociology.

Town Hall July 14: Connect with City Council and Community Would you like to engage in meaningful conversations about Kenmore with your City Councilmembers and fellow community members? You're invited to attend a Community Town Hall on Monday, July 14 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at City Hall to discuss a variety of topics impacting Kenmore such as climate action, housing, parks and open spaces, economic development, and more. This casual, roundtable style event is open to everyone, with Spanish interpretation and kid-friendly activities provided.

Northshore Schools Foundation's Backpacks for Kids Supply Drive The City of Kenmore is proud to support the Northshore Schools Foundation’s Backpacks for Kids Supply Drive, helping ensure every Northshore School District student starts the school year with the supplies they need to succeed. Drop off new backpacks and school supplies through July 31 in the red collection bins at Kenmore City Hall and The Hangar in Town Square, or find more locations here. There is also an option to shop and donate online. |
