Proposed Plymouth Supportive Housing Project Update
Last night at a special meeting, the Kenmore City Council voted 4-3 to bring back an ordinance denying the development agreement for the proposed Plymouth Permanent Supportive Housing development at 6532 Bothell Way NE. According to the Kenmore Municipal Code, a final decision on the development agreement must come in the form of an ordinance. City staff plan to bring forward an ordinance denying the development agreement during the January 22 city council meeting as part of the consent agenda. 

190th Street Culvert Replacement Project Update
Last summer, construction began to replace the deteriorating culvert located near the intersection of 61st Avenue NE and NE 190th Street with a larger fish-friendly culvert. The goal was to have this project paved and available for use at the end of 2023. Unfortunately, supply issues, weather delays, and unexpected challenges such as uncovering old buried utility lines and materials, have caused project delays. The contractor is now planning to pave and stripe to finish the project this spring. During ongoing construction, NE 190th Street, east of the intersection of 61^st Ave NE, is closed with local access only. Access to 190^th Street from 61^st Avenue is expected to open in the spring (April or May). Find project information here under the Surface Water section.

Take the Human Services Survey - Extended to February 2
The City of Kenmore would like to learn more about what support systems our community needs to help residents through economic and personal crisis and provide opportunities for all residents to succeed. We have developed a short 10-minute survey to identify gaps in the human services system in Kenmore. The City will use the information gathered to make decisions about funding and programs that will provide critical services to our residents in need. All community members are invited to take the survey, which has been extended and will remain open until February 2.
