Puget Sound Clean Air Agency issues approval notice to replace and repair equipment at the Cadman asphalt facility in Kenmore and establish new operating and testing requirements

• Currently in 30-day appeal period

• Kenmore City Manager will attend three upcoming listening sessions to collect community feedback

Kenmore, WA - On October 26, 2022, Puget Sound Clean Air Agency (PSCAA) issued an Order of Approval of a Notice of Construction permit (#11861) for the Cadman asphalt facility in Kenmore. There is a 30-day appeal period associated with this Order of Approval. 

The City Council will hold a special study session on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 6 p.m. to discuss the Order of Approval. Up to 15 minutes of public comment will be allowed during the study session, with further opportunity for public comment during the regular meeting that same evening.

In advance of the November 14 City Council study session, City Manager Rob Karlinsey will attend three listening sessions to gather questions and comments from the public. These three sessions are open to the public and are scheduled as follows:
