Background: Puget Sound Clean Air Agency (PSCAA) recently provided public notice for a proposed permit and public hearing for Cadman Materials to replace a drum dryer and burner, substantially alter an existing baghouse, and replace passive condensers on two asphaltic cement storage tanks. PSCAA has completed the review of the application No. 11861 and made a preliminary determination that the proposal meets all of Regulations I, II, and III and draft Order No. 11861 should be approved. PSCAA has also made a preliminary Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) after review of a completed Environmental Checklist and other information on file at PSCAA. PSCAA held a public hearing on the proposed Order of Approval and Determination of Nonsignificance on April 18, 2022.

The public comment period is open now. Written comments with respect to the proposed Order and Determination of Nonsignificance must be submitted to the contact listed above and received by May 2, 2022.
