Greetings Kenmore Community!
The City is inviting you to participate in Kenmore’s online American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) community engagement tool. We are seeking input from Kenmore residents and other interested parties on how the City should spend some of its ARPA funds. Participants are given a menu of 16 possible ARPA project ideas with preliminary budget amounts and are asked to select and rank their top choices. The whole process only takes a few minutes to complete and will be open until mid-February. This community input will be shared with the City Council, who we expect will make ARPA funding decisions in March or April.
We hope you will participate in this process and let your voice be heard. Please also feel free to forward the link to neighbors and other contacts in Kenmore and encourage them to participate.
If you have any questions, please contact Stephanie Lucash, Assistant City Manager/ARPA Administrator at slucash@kenmorewa.gov.
Thank you in advance for your participation.
The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) is a $1.9 trillion federal law passed in March 2021 to help the U.S. respond to and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. The City of Kenmore is receiving a total of $6.4 million in ARPA funds. Visit the City's ARPA webpage for more information and to sign up for updates: www.kenmorewa.gov/ARPA.
