Access to Kenmore Boathouse impacted next week

On Monday morning, October 18, crews are scheduled to prep and pour new concrete at the Kenmore Boathouse driveway (located on the east side of 68th Ave NE, across the street from the Kenmore boat launch entrance). After the driveway is poured, it will stay closed for the remainder of the week for the concrete to cure and harden. To access the boathouse during this work, vehicles should use the boat launch driveway located on the west side of 68th Ave NE (see map below). The roadway beneath the bridge will be accessible during this time. Please note that there is a 9-foot height clearance under the bridge, and there is limited space to turn around in front of the Boathouse. The driveway is expected to be reopened by the end of the day on Friday, October 22 (weather permitting).

Please slow down when transiting through the project’s work zones, both over the bridge and in the water. When traveling over the bridge the 25 MPH speed limit will be strictly enforced.
