We are wrapping up the grant-funded Safe Routes to Schools 153rd PL sidewalk project near Arrowhead Elementary to make the area more walkable, comfortable, and safe for students and other pedestrians. There will be a full closure on Sept 9th and we expect both vehicle lanes will be open to traffic at 8am on Sept 10th. Check the webpage for details and the latest updates.
School starts Wednesday, Sept 4th. This means more vehicles on the road, more buses, and more people walking and biking to our schools. Please give yourself more time for traffic. Let's all slow down and watch out for other drivers and children crossing streets. We are still looking for input to shape our Parks, Recreation and Open Space (PROS) Plan! The public is invited to stop by an Open House on Sept 25th at Kenmore City Hall any time from 6:30 - 8:30pm to learn more and give input. Can't attend?
