Join us for the 2021 MTP Public Forum!
Next Monday, Health Care Authority (HCA) will host a virtual public forum on the Medicaid Transformation Project (MTP). This year, we’ll share a/an:
- Overview of MTP and its initiatives
- Summary of COVID-19 response activities
- Summary of this year’s achievements and challenges
- Update on the MTP one-year extension and amendment (January–December 2022)
- Update on the MTP five-year renewal (2023–2027)
We’ll also have dedicated time at the end for Q&A with attendees. If you’re unable to attend, we’ll be recording the forum and posting on our meetings and materials page in mid-December.

What’s MTP?
MTP is Washington’s Section 1115 Medicaid demonstration waiver between HCA and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. MTP allows our state to create and continue to develop projects, activities, and services that improve Washington’s health care system.
