To enhance communication and awareness, we are providing GovDelivery notifications to alert Benefits Administrators (BAs) on the details of updates to SEBB My Account (SMA). We believe these notifications will provide better awareness of the developmental efforts to improve SMA and perhaps allow BAs to prioritize issues based on more up-to-date knowledge of the issues being addressed within the program. See below for details on the latest update to SMA implemented Thursday 10/21/2021:

Long Term Disability

  • All subscribers will see the 60 percent default election & can make changes to reduce or decline on the Coverage Elections page (exclusion for Locally Eligible subscribers, they will not be auto enrolled and cannot elect this coverage).
  • Subscribers will see any changes made to their Employee-Paid LTD reflected on their Summary of Coverage Elections, which they can download and keep for their records.
  • Benefit Admins have a new report – Employee-Paid LTD Enrollment Changes – which will reflect any changes the employee has made to their LTD elections, both during Open Enrollment, and after.

Dual Enrollment between SEBB and PEBB

  • Subscribers who have dual enrollment between the SEBB & PEBB programs will have the option to waive their SEBB Coverage for themselves & dependents, OR keep their SEBB coverage, and make plan changes for 2022.
  • SEBB Organizations have a new report - Dual Enrollment by SEBB Org - which shows subscribers & dependents with an active dual enrollment between SEBB & PEBB.

Spousal Re-attestation

  • Updates were made for subscribers who need to re-attest for the spousal premium surcharge. Subscriber will see a banner upon login and will be directed to the premium surcharge attestation page. There, a subscriber will see refreshed spousal surcharge questions, prompting the subscriber to answers questions 2-6 as applicable (question 1 will be auto-selected as the spouse is enrolled in coverage).
  • The “subscribers who need to Re-attest report” was also updated to reflect the subscribers within your SEBB Organization that need to re-attest to the spousal premium surcharge.

Additional Updates

  • For subscribers who have medical plans no longer available, they will see additional messaging in the Open Enrollment banner alerting them that they need to change their plan or will default into UMP Achieve 1.
  • Medical plan availability & plan premiums have been updated for 2022.
