To enhance communication and awareness, we are providing GovDelivery notifications to alert Benefits Administrators (BAs) on the details of updates to SEBB My Account (SMA). We believe these notifications will provide better awareness of the developmental efforts to improve SMA and perhaps allow BAs to prioritize issues based on more up-to-date knowledge of the issues being addressed within the program. See below for details on the latest update to SMA implemented Thursday 6/28/21:

Data Depot – The previously named SmartHealth tile is now named the Data Depot. In the Data Depot, HCA will be able to upload ad-hoc reports, such as the W2 information at the end of the year, a list of subscribers who need to re-attest for their spousal attestation, etc. SEBB Orgs will be able to download reports from the Data Depot, however, they will not be able to upload anything.

Tobacco Attestations – When a subscriber or dependent changes their attestation from YES to NO, the coverage summary was incorrectly continuing to display the surcharge, even though the surcharge was removed from the subscriber’s monthly premiums correctly.

SOE fixes – We continue to make updates and improvements to the SOEs. Dependent Change in Employment Status SOE event was not allowing the change in dental & vision coverage for dependents, which was blocking the subscriber from submitting the event – this has now been resolved. Further, Dependent Loses Eligibility SOE was not allowing Benefit Admins to appropriately verify- this has also been resolved.
