Health Care Cost Transparency Board to meet this week

On Wednesday, June 16, the Health Care Cost Transparency Board (HCCTB) will meet on Zoom. During this meeting, the HCCTB will discuss:

  • Historical health care cost growth in Washington State.
  • Economic indicators and use of historical and forecasted growth to create the benchmark.
  • Adjustments to the cost growth benchmark.
  • Input received from the Advisory Committee of Health Care Providers and Carriers, who met in late May.

The board will also hear public comments and consider appointing an additional member for the Advisory Committee on Data Issues.

Yes. Your input is a crucial part of the HCCTB’s process. Each board meeting will have a designated time for public comment. If you would like to let us know in advance you’ll be speaking, please contact us at hcahcctboard@hca.wa.gov. You can also submit comments in writing at any time.
