To enhance communication and awareness, we are providing GovDelivery notifications to alert Benefits Administrators (BAs) on the details of updates to SEBB My Account (SMA). We believe these notifications will provide better awareness of the developmental efforts to improve SMA and perhaps allow BAs to prioritize issues based on a more up-to-date knowledge of the issues being addressed within the program. See below for details on the latest update to SMA implemented Thursday 3/26/21:

  • Coverage summary page update: The “dependent type” for all enrolled dependents will now be displayed.
  • Billing file update:  How invoice and credits are displayed will allow for the AutoSum function in Excel to work.
  • Some subscribers will need to re-claim their account: There were approximately 3,000 subscribers who had less than three security questions saved in SMA. We disassociated these subscriber accounts, which means upon the subscriber’s next login attempt, the system will prompt them to re-claim their account. The subscriber will have to provide their last name, DOB, and last 4 of their SSN to verify their information, and then can select new security questions and answers.
  • Premium surcharge attestation page update:
  • Dependent loses eligibility: A step has been added for uploading documents associated with this SOE event.
  • Change to SSN and phone number fields: These fields now provide examples in valid formats prior to user entering information into the field.
  • Transfers: Upon submitting an SOE event where a subscriber had transferred SEBB Organizations, Benefit Admins from both districts were seeing the SOE event, regardless of when the transfer occurred. The SOE event now only displays for the subscriber’s active SEBB Org.
  • Eligibility File upload has been fixed: BAs using Eligibility File uploads were creating duplicate subscriber records in the system. The Eligibility File upload has been fixed to correctly claim a previously-terminated subscriber's account and open the newly-eligible state for the subscriber to enroll.
