To enhance communication and awareness, we are now providing GovDelivery notifications to alert Benefits Administrators (BAs) on the details of updates to the SEBB My Account (SMA) program. We believe these notifications will provide better awareness of the developmental efforts to improve SMA and perhaps allow BAs to prioritize issues based on a more up-to-date knowledge of the issues being addressed within the program.

See below for details on the latest updates to SMA implemented Thursday 10/29/2020:

  • Benefits Administrators (BAs) now have the ability to run a report for called “Subscribers who need to re-attest.” This report will allow BA’s to see all records needing to add a spousal attestation for 2021.
  • The SMA system will no longer disenroll 2020 coverage when requesting a waive status for 2021.
  • The hyperlink to “Contact HCA” located in the SMA page footer was causing a lot of phone calls to be misdirected to other departments within HCA (such as Finance, ADA coordinator).  To resolve this, the link from the “Contact SEBB” option in the header has been added it to the footer, replacing the Contact HCA link. This change now routes phone calls appropriately to the SMA call center.
