Intercom newsletter mails

The October 2020 edition of the School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) Program newsletter, Intercom, was mailed or emailed to school employees on October 6.

The newsletter is the employee’s only notice of the 2021 open enrollment. Topics include:

  • SEBB Program and Rule Changes
  • Changes employees can make during annual open enrollment
  • Employee premiums
  • Medical FSA/DCAP reminders
  • Virtual Benefits Fair
  • And more…

The newsletter also addresses two required federal notices:

  • Annual Notice of Creditable Prescription Drug Coverage – as the plan administrator, this article acts as the notification of creditable coverage to employees. In addition, HCA will notify CMS that the SEBB plans have creditable drug coverage.
  • Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) availability. Required by the Affordable Care Act.

Outreach and Training phones will be unavailable this afternoon

The Outreach and Training phone (1-800-700-1555) will be turned off today, October 8, from 3 pm to 5 pm. This will allow us to work through the existing queue of FUZE incidents. The phone will be available again at 8 am tomorrow.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
