October 7 is the next Universal Health Care Work Group meeting

On Wednesday next week, the Universal Health Care Work Group will meet on Zoom. During the meeting, work group members will discuss the:

  • Expectations for the final report to the Legislature and future work. Work group members will also share feedback on the report outline.
  • Outcomes of the actuarial analyses. In addition, the work group will answer Optumas’ questions so they can finalize the models, and the work group can use the data in decision making.
  • Lessons learned from examples of previous universal health care efforts. This discussion will inform how the work group provides recommendations to the Legislature.
  • End-state we are trying to achieve with universal health care.
  • Action items and next steps.

The meeting is on Wednesday, October 7, from 1-4 p.m.

Public comments are an important part of our work, and there will be an opportunity to provide comment at the beginning of the meeting. The work group will hear comments on a first-come, first-served basis, and will take as many public comments as time allows.

  • Register to attend the meeting by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5 and select:
