Medical FSA and DCAP Process during Limited Open Enrollment

Reminder: During the Limited Open Enrollment, send your Medical FSA/DCAP forms to Navia Benefit Solutions every Friday through July 31.

Process for Medical FSA/DCAP forms:

  1. Employees must submit their Navia Benefit Solutions Limited Open Enrollment Medical FSA/DCAP Enrollment/Change form to their Payroll and Benefits Administrators.
  2. DO NOT tell members to call Navia Benefit Solutions to initiate accounts or change annual elections.
  3. When you receive the form:
    1. Sign the form in the Employer section.
    2. Adjust the payroll system to make the requested payroll deduction changes. The Medical FSA/DCAP is effective August 1, so the adjustment should be for August payroll.
    3. During the Limited Open Enrollment, send forms to Navia Benefit Solutions every Friday through July 31.
  4. Navia Benefit Solutions will review the forms whenever an employee has requested a decrease that is lower than the amount already claimed. Navia will notify you to make the adjustment to the payroll deduction.
