Final SEBB Update coming March 31

We will send out the last regular installment of SEBB Update on Tuesday, March 31. Going forward, our Outreach and Training team will send out important information via GovDelivery on an as-needed basis. Thank you for reading this information over the past few months.

SEBB My Account adjustments

Here are our most recent updates to SEBB My Account:

  • Benefits administrators can now verify a special open enrollment starting the month of the event.
  • Self-pay (COBRA/Unpaid Leave) subscribers can again download their Statement of Insurance. A previous defect prevented this for a short time.
  • Newly eligible subscribers can now make coverage elections on the same day they become eligible.
  • Neither subscribers nor dependents will be able to dual enroll under the same health plan. For example:
    • A dependent cannot be enrolled in medical coverage under a subscriber and under their own subscriber account at the same time.
    • Two subscribers cannot have the same child under the same health plan (medical, dental, or vision) at the same time.
  • Benefit administrators can now claim subscribers who were previously terminated or previously enrolled as dependents.
  • Dependents will be allowed to be removed under the special open enrollment event “dependent loses eligibility.”

The next SEBB My Account adjustments are scheduled for Thursday, March 26.
