Universal Health Care Work Group to meet next week

On Monday, December 9, the Universal Health Care Work Group will meet for the second time. The purpose of this work group is to provide recommendations to the Washington State Legislature on how to create, implement, maintain, and fund a universal health care system.

Details about the meeting:

1 to 5 p.m. on Monday, December 9
Legislative Building, Columbia Room (119)
416 Sid Snyder Avenue SW, Olympia

As part of this meeting, work group members will break into small groups from 2:10 to 3:50 p.m. Some of these breakout sessions will occur in different rooms or buildings of the Capitol Campus, and will not be recorded. People who attend in person are welcome to observe the breakout sessions. After the breakout sessions, each group will report on what they discussed (which will be recorded).

Work group meetings are public meetings, with an opportunity for public comment at the end of each meeting. Public comments are an integral part of our work, so we encourage people to attend and share their input. There will also be an option to provide public comment electronically.
