Updated Medicaid Transformation measurement guide, Project Toolkit now available

The Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) has updated its measurement guide to document how performance toward health system transformation is measured throughout the five-year Healthier Washington Medicaid Transformation effort.

The measurement guide reflects revisions to address comments and questions raised through the February 2018 public review process, as well as program developments that occurred over the last six months.

HCA has also revised its Medicaid Transformation Project Toolkit, to clarify project implementation milestones.

Medicaid Transformation is a partnership between the state and the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Medicaid Transformation was approved by CMS on January 9, 2017, and lasts through December 31, 2021.
