Purpose: As authorized in Substitute Senate Bill 5883, the agency is creating rules for a new model of care called Collaborative Care Model which is part of the integration of mental health and physical health. (WSR 18-02-089)

Proposal - Public Hearings (CR102)

182-531A-0800 Applied behavior analysis (ABA)—Provider requirements.
Purpose: The agency is revising WAC 182-531A-0800, Applied behavior analysis (ABA) - Provider requirements, to align with new credentialing for Applied Behavioral Analysis providers through the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) under Chapter 246-805 WAC. The agency added requirements for providers to be recognized by the agency as centers of excellence (COEs). (WSR 18-02-088)

Purpose: These rules govern the administration of the Medically Intensive Children’s Program (MICP) to provide private duty nursing hours for children age seventeen and younger. The program is available for clients whose complex medical needs cannot be managed within the scope of intermittent home health services. The proposed rule changes reorganize the private duty nursing rules within Chapter 182-551 WAC, revise eligibility criteria, and clarify current agency policy. (WSR 18-02-094)
