Apple Health (Medicaid) - Seats still available for information seminars on ambulance supplemental payment program

Apple Health (Medicaid) Provider Alert

Publically owned or operated ground ambulance providers are encouraged to participate in upcoming informational seminars about the additional payments they may be eligible for when transporting Medicaid clients.

These supplemental payments will be available through the Ground Emergency Medical Transportation (GEMT) program, which the Health Care Authority (the agency) is currently developing as directed by House Bill 2007.

The agency anticipates it will take several months to finalize the program and offer the supplemental payments. Until then, providers are encouraged to attend a GEMT Implementation Seminar. Seminar dates, agendas, and registration can be found on the GEMT Implementation Seminar webpage.
