The Healthier Washington quarterly webinar held April 5 focused on the growth and progress of Accountable Communities of Health (ACHs) across the state. “ACHs are demonstrating a capacity to bring together multisector participants in a way we haven’t seen before in these ACH regions,” Erin Hertel, program manager at the Center for Community Health & Evaluation reported during the webinar. 

Hertel was part of a panel that included Health Care Authority Director Dorothy Teeter, Office of Medicaid Transformation Director Marc Provence, and directors from two Accountable Communities of Health, Alison Carl White and Elya Moore.

Next quarterly webinar to focus on resources for providers

Registration is now open for the third 2017 Healthier Washington quarterly webinar. The webinar, scheduled for 1 to 2 p.m. July 6, will highlight resources for providers who are considering, planning, or already transitioning to new models of care based on quality and health outcomes. The webinar is geared toward providers, practice managers, purchasers, health care and health policy leaders, and others who are interested in learning about existing tools and resources to ensure successful practice transformation.
