Upcoming Payroll Warrant Changes Beginning 1/26/26 |

The Office of the State Treasurer (OST) and Department of Enterprise Services (DES) – Printing Services notified OFM of an important change to the January 26 payroll warrants.
To support financial institution concerns following a change to warrants in December, beginning 1/20/26, the State of Washington will begin printing state warrants on a different new paper with a more visible watermark. This means warrants issued beginning with the January 26 pay date will be printed on a new paper. OST has outlined this update in the Warrants section on their website.
