Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course available!

The DMAIC framework used in Lean Six Sigma - define, measure, analyze, improve, control

Extra! Extra! Read all about it!

For all of you looking for a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course, look no further as the University of Washington (UW) has answered the call. In partnership with Michael Mage, this informative and practical course will be taught by Nikki Nisbet - our outstanding Washington State Department of Transportation colleague, dedicated public servant, and recent community of practice presenter alum. This hands-on course introduces Lean enterprise and Six Sigma principles and shows how to apply the DMAIC (define, measure, analyze, improve, control) framework to improve processes, reduce waste, and understand performance variation. Participants will practice proven tools like process mapping, root cause analysis, 5S, and data analysis techniques while working on a team-based improvement project. The experience culminates in a gallery walk where teams present their findings and learn from peers.
