What is impacted?

SWHR files from Higher Education institutions may receive an error similar to following message despite not sending duplicate files: 

Preprocess Error for Agency XXX:  You have multiple xxx_xxxxxxxxx_.dat files. Please resubmit with only one of each file type.

Who is impacted?

Higher Education institutions sending files for the SWHR database.

How does this impact customers?

If you receive this error and shouldn't have, please do not resubmit the file(s) and contact the OFM Help Desk.

When did the incident start?

Wednesday, October 7, 2025 at 3:36 p.m.
