W-2 Test Run for Employees who Opted in for online W-2
If an employee opted in for online-only Forms W-2 using MyPortal My Online Selections, PU19 will not generate a printable test W-2. To view the information that will be reported on the W-2, the Generate Audit Report in the PU19 transaction must be checked:
 Understanding the Employee Selection
If you are uncertain of an employee’s selections within MyPortal, processors can verify employee W-2 preferences within PA30:
- Enter 3228 In the Direct Selection Infotype box
- Click Enter to populate
- Select the Display button to see the most current record or Overview to see all records for the employee
If you receive a message stating No Data Stored for Online Selection, the employee has not made a selection online and the employee is still using the default paper selection option.
