New Messages for Out of State Tax Authority Locator
The Out-of-State Tax Authority Locator Report (ZHR_TAXFINDER) messages in the Tips for State section of the report results have been updated. The following messages were added to the report results:
- Infotype 0208 only optional for WA if no Oregon or Idaho tax areas are used.
- If living in Idaho but working in Washington, then a WA 0208 is required.
- If living in Oregon but working in Washington, then a WA 0208 is required.
City of Canby
Programming was added to return OR06 as the Tax Authority for IT0208 if the employee's State is Oregon and City is Canby. Processors should check the CAT district boundaries on the City of Canby.
2025 Benefit Updates
IRS has raised the max DCP contributions for tax year 2025 to $23,500 for 49 years old and younger. The max contribution for 50 years and over is $31,000 and the max for the special catch up is $47,000.
