HB 2246 Increased Vacation Leave Accruals for State Employees

OFM is currently working to increase the annual cap on the accrual of unused vacation leave to 280 hours in HRMS per HB 2246. These changes will be effective on June 6, 2024. Anniversary dates prior to the June 6^th effective date of the law will still be subject to the current 240-hour cap in HRMS.

OFM will be providing follow-up communication on release to production but we want to ensure agencies are aware of this change and the appropriate actions are taking place to ensure implementation in HRMS by the required due date.
