HRMS & MyPortal Extending Session Time-Out
MyPortal has been enhanced to increase the amount of time before receiving a session timeout. The session timeout determines the time a user can remain idle before the system will terminate the session and the user must log in again. The previous session timeout for MyPortal was 9 minutes and the newly extended time is 14 minutes.
This enhancement was completed following accessibility testing on MyPortal. Accessibility findings concluded users with screen readers may need more time as the applications may not recognize the users’ keyboard navigating activities and mistakenly identify inactivity.
HRMS Payroll Simulation HRMS
HRMS has been fixed to allow users with the Payroll Analyst role to run a Payroll Simulation (PC00_M10_CALC_SIMU – Payroll Driver USA).
Previously, the Payroll Analyst role was found to return an error if an employee had a garnishment processing and the user did not have the Payroll Processor and/or Payroll Supervisor role in addition to the Payroll Analyst role. This issue is now resolved.
HRMS Release Information
This was a planned release of changes and improvements to HRMS and MyPortal based off the HRMS Release Management process and schedule. As we are continuously working on improvements to better assist and support our professional users, HRMS Releases take place two times a month.
