OFM is upgrading HRMS access to SAP GUI 8.00
Instructions and information on upgrading to SAP GUI 8.00 can be found in the Technical Requirements section of the HRMS Support Hub. For HRMS users, this will require the assistance of agency network or desktop support staff to ensure proper installation. Please work with your agency IT support before attempting to install this upgrade.
SAP GUI Upgrade Reminders
Theme The Quartz Theme remains the default for SAP GUI 8.00. OFM uses SAP Belize Theme, and the HRMS Support Hub will not be updated with screen shots or functionality of Quartz. Completing the upgrade may update your Theme depending on your desktop settings. If you would like to change your SAP theme to your preferred theme after the upgrade, please visit the Changing your SAP Theme user procedure located on the HRMS Support Hub.
Favorites As with any upgrade, there is always a possibility of losing your current HRMS Favorites. We recommend that prior to your upgrade to SAP GUI 8.00, you take a screen shot of your current favorites in the event that you will need to recreate them.
Technical Support
SAP GUI 7.70 version interface remains viable at this time, and though we are not requiring an immediate upgrade to SAP GUI 8.00, the upgrade is recommended prior to requesting technical support from the OFM Help Desk. SAP GUI version 7.70 will no longer be supported by SAP beginning April 9, 2024. Versions older than 7.70 are no longer supported by SAP.
