These changes are a result of work by the HRMS Data Stewards to more accurately categorize and report actions. In addition to the new and renamed codes listed above, the following Action Reason definitions were revised:
- Demotion – Disciplinary
- Demotion – Voluntary
- Exempt

- Transfer

New Definitions Added to F1 Help
In addition to the updates above, new data definitions have been added to HRMS F1 Help for the following fields:
- Employment Status - Actions (0000) infotype
- Retirement Eligible – Account Assignment Features (1008) infotype
- Budgeted – Account Assignment Features (1008) infotype

New Organizational Management Object – Statewide Job Grouping
A new Job relationship on the Relationships (1001) infotype has been created in HRMS to allow State Human Resources to group job categories at the enterprise level. The new relationship type is Statewide Job Grouping (Type of related object), and the Abbreviation and Name values are:

Agencies will have the ability to view the Statewide Job Grouping; however, the relationships will be maintained by State Human Resources. Statewide Job Grouping assignments will be updated via Winshuttle the week of March 27, 2023.
These Relationship and Relationship Type codes will be added to Washington Workforce Analytics (WWA) soon.
The new Statewide Job Grouping object, relationship, and definitions have been added to the HRMS Data Definitions Resource Guide and the Organizational Management Relationships Coding Guide.
2023 HRMS Release Information
This was a planned release of changes and improvements to HRMS based off the HRMS Release Management process and schedule. As we are continuously working on improvements to better assist and support our professional users, HRMS Releases take place two times a month.
