Standard Occupational Classification (SOC)
HRMS has been updated with a new WC State, Code, Attribute (1613) infotype to support the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) code requirement within HRMS. The new infotype is found within PO13 and will also populate while creating a new position in the PP03 process. Please see OFM Service News – WC State Code Attribute communication for full detail.
Overpayment Offset & Recovery – Not Subject to Retirement
A new set of wage types have been created to offset and recover an overpayment that was not subject to retirement. Agencies processing overpayments that were not subject to retirement should use the following new wage types:

Examples of overpayments that were not subject to retirement would be vacation leave buyouts for plans 2 and 3, vacation leave buyouts for plan 1 over 240 hours, and certain settlement and/or incentive payments. Use of these wage types will process in account 035, GL 1324.
New Absence Type – Bereavement Leave Supplemental Benefit - PFML
The following Absence Type has been added to HRMS and MyPortal as an addition to the Paid Family Medical Leave (PFML) supplemental leave options. The new Absence Type is available in HRMS and MyPortal. Bereavement Leave Supplemental Benefit PFML is effective January 1, 2023:

This leave should be used only when an employee is taking Bereavement Leave and have been approved by ESD for Paid Family Medical Leave (PFML) under Title 50 RCW. Agencies with outside leave systems should update their time recording systems accordingly.
2023 HRMS Release Information
