New Unique Facility Identifier (UFI) for Non-Disclosure Locations is Available in HRMS
A new UFI Code is now available in HRMS that may be used for positions and/or employees where it is essential to keep the position or employee location anonymous, such as undercover staff. UFI codes are located on the position Address (1028) and employee Duty Station Address (9105) infotypes.
UFI Code Z99999 (Non-Disclosure)
The address values for the new Z99999 Non-Disclosure UFI are:
Address 1: Non-Disclosure
City: Non-Disclosure
State: WA
Zip Code: 00000
County: Non-Disclosure
Please use this code sparingly and only in cases where it is imperative to keep a position or employee’s Duty Station location anonymous. OFM is frequently requested to provide data based on position Duty Station location so Non-Disclosure UFI’s should be kept to a minimum. Agencies should also plan to track the physical location of these Non-Disclosure UFIs using another method in the event it is required to provide the information in the future.
The Non-Disclosure option for work locations is not a replacement for use of the Redaction Indicator to identify records for redaction consideration.
The data definition for the Unique Facility Identifier (UFI) Code has been updated to reflect the addition of this new option. HRMS F1 help will also be updated to reflect this change in upcoming days.
This new UFI code will also be available for reporting from the Washington Workforce Analytics (WWA) Enterprise Data Warehouse.
