The issue has been fixed and the Winshuttle application is now available to use.

Reason for Outage:

The incident was due to a hardware failure.


What is impacted?

The Winshuttle application is currently down. OFM is unable to process requests for Winshuttle upload to HRMS at this time.

Who is impacted?

Agency Winshuttle requestors.

How does this impact customers?

OFM is unable to upload Winshuttle templates as requested at this time. Agencies should move forward with manual HRMS entry until this issue is resolved. Because it is Payroll Day 3, we recommend completing processing as soon as possible. We are uncertain when Winshuttle will be restored.

When did the incident start?

Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 8:37 a.m.

Technical Notes:

A hardware failure in one of our server clusters yesterday morning caused a number of issues, the biggest of which is that many servers are unable to communicate with the network and this is impacting some of our applications, including Winshuttle.

An automatically scheduled upgrade to the NCC software in this cluster hung during the pre-upgrade checks and caused the storage for the cluster to fill up, taking down two drives. OFM is on site at the State Data Center working to get these drives back up and running as quickly as possible.
