OFM is upgrading HRMS access to SAP GUI 7.70
Instructions and information on upgrading to SAP GUI 7.70 can be found in the Technical Requirements section of the HRMS Support Hub. For HRMS users, this will require the assistance of agency network or desktop support staff to ensure proper installation. Please work with your agency IT support before attempting to install this upgrade.
What is new with SAP GUI 7.70?
Default Theme SAP has updated their default theme to Quartz in the 7.70 upgrade. At this time, OFM has transitioned to provide instruction using the SAP Belize Theme, and the HRMS Support Hub will not be updated with screen shots or functionality of Quartz. Some pre-existing images and steps found on the HRMS Support Hub will remain in the SAP Signature theme until we are able to update them to Belize. Completing the upgrade may update your Theme depending on your desktop settings. Favorites As with any upgrade, there is always a possibility of losing your current HRMS Favorites. We recommend that prior to your upgrade to SAP GUI 7.70, you take a screen shot of your current favorites in the event that you will need to recreate your transaction favorites, website favorites, or both.
Technical Support
SAP GUI 7.60 version interface remains viable at this time, and though we are not requiring an immediate upgrade to SAP GUI 7.70, the upgrade to SAP GUI 7.70 is recommended prior to requesting technical support from the OFM Help Desk. The lifecycle of SAP GUI versions 7.60 or older are no longer supported by SAP.
