OFM Service News – Social Security Number (SSN) Verification Failure Report

2020 Year End

OFM completed the first run of the Name and SSN Verification process with the Social Security Administration. This process identifies employees who have been rejected by Social Security.

Agency Action: Agencies will need to run ZHR_RPTPY033_SSN_VER (EVS Verification Failure Report) to identify employees within their agency that may have issues.

The procedure for running the report and resolving the SSN discrepancies can be accessed on the Year End website.

Please execute the report and verify the information as soon as possible to ensure employees’ W-2s will be correct.
