New EAMS interface drastically reduces steps to file unemployment taxes
Try the updated user interface for the Employer Account Management System (EAMS). It offers you a streamlined and more accessible experience:
- Reduced navigation. The number of steps you need to take to file has been reduced from up to 11 to just 2, depending on the scenario.
- Enhanced user experience. The user-centric design features improved flow, clearer language and more explanations. You can file faster and more accurately.
The filing flow has over 50 improvements, such as:
- Use a single page for new reports, viewing previous reports and amending reports.
- See improved clarity in due dates and messages for non-liable or inactive quarters.
- Get fewer errors because validations run as you enter data.
- Enter out-of-state wages on the same page as employee wages.
- Easily search and enter SOC codes and job titles.
- Experience improved table navigation and auto-save features.
You can use either the old or new interface for Q1 filing, or switch between them.
