AmeriCorps Week 2023
Each year during AmeriCorps Week (March 12-18), the selfless commitment of AmeriCorps members and alums is publicly recognized nationwide, highlighting the extraordinary impact they have in service - an opportunity to salute them for their service, thank AmeriCorps community partners and bring awareness to the public and local legislators.
Please join us in giving #AmeriThanks to your members and partners during the month of March on your social media platforms!
Check out AmeriCorps' tookit for graphics, social media templates & different ways to share and celebrate.
2022 W2 Forms
Members, 2022 W2s were mailed out on January 19. If you don't see yours soon, email us with your name & mailing address with the subject line "2022 W2 Request".

We'll be launching our 2023-24 Request for Applications to host WSC & WRC members later this month - keep an eye on your email for an announcement when posted.
Key updates for next year:
-- WA Reading Corps is expanding its program to include all school grades.
-- All academic education projects will need to apply (or re-apply) under our WRC program.
-- We're piloting a referral appreciation program for WSC applications. If eligible, your PY23 program fee may be discounted if you refer a new host site who is awarded a 2023-24 WSC member placement. Details will be shared with our RFA announcement.
Join us on February 15 at 11:30 a.m. for a live Q&A about the upcoming RFA.
Note: Serve WA has funding available for eligible organizations to help offset host site fees and TTA costs. Learn more here.
Due March 15
Second quarter reports (Dec-Feb) and member stories of service will be due March 15. Reports in America Learns will open on March 1.
César Chávez Day of Service
César Chávez gave our nation and each of us a unique example to live our lives by through his work and dedication to worker and civil rights, environmental justice, nonviolence, and empowerment of the poor and disenfranchised.
WSC will honor his legacy with a Day of Service on March 31. Please consider hosting an event for your site, or connecting to another local event.
We'll have service projects posted on our website that you can participate in if not hosting one. Share your project with us by submitting a Day of Service Form.
