Introducing our WSC Member Leaders!

Meet Zoie and Nicole - they've both returned to serve again with WSC, this time as Member Leaders for the 22-23 term, helping to support current members through their AmeriCorps experience!

Prior to their current role, Nicole served at WorkSource JBLM for two terms and Zoie served with Grays Harbor Wildlife Refuge. They're both so excited to support members in any way they can this year! Be on the lookout for communications and newsletters from them as they plan service projects, member meetups, and trainings. WSC & WRC Member Training Events

Registration for our annual Member Training is now open! The training is scheduled for October 25-27 from 1:00-5:00pm each day, and is mandatory for all WRC and WSC members. The event will include full group sessions and opportunities to connect with WSC staff and AmeriCorps peers in smaller groups. Please block this time out on your calendar and register here no later than Friday, October 14.

The introductory training for the WRC Reading Power program will be on Tuesday, November 1, from 8:00am-4:00pm. All Reading Corps members are expected to attend, in addition to the annual WSC training event in October. WRC training registration information will be sent via email.

You're invited! Join AmeriCorps members across the state (via Zoom) in officially kicking off the new year. Serve Washington will be hosting a live "swearing-in" event on October 21 at 10am, including a Q&A session with alumni and optional trainings afterwards.

Oct Lunch & Learn
