Information sharing - COVID Vaccine Events- FREE food and gift card!

The Center for Independence (CFI) is holding two Department of Health sponsored, free Vaccine events at both office locations in Lakewood and Marysville, that are open to the community at large. Our goal at these events is to bring awareness to our partnership with the Department Of Health's Care-A-Van, where we will provide on the spot vaccines and boosters to unvaccinated or vaccine-hesitant community members. We will be providing swag bags, food (ice cream cones and Jimmy Johns Sandwiches), and $50 gift cards as incentives for the first 100 people who are vaccinated. We are also partnering with Outdoors for All, an organization dedicated to providing activities that are accessible for community members with disabilities, including accessible bicycles.  

Our Marysville event will be held on June 18, 2022 with activities and vaccines available from 10:00am to 3:00pm during the strawberry festival in our office parking lot. 

We are partnering with the City of Lakewood's SummerFest on July 28, 2022 for our Vaccine event in Lakewood. Vaccines and activities will be provided during festival hours starting at 11:00am to 6:00pm.
