Oreck is hiring for Associates.
Two to four positions available in a retail environment for new store openings. Work duties include all aspects of a retail environment. We offer a complete training program with pay. Start on ground level with advancement into management likely for the right candidates. Right candidates will be punctual, able to follow instructions, and have some mechanical skills. After training is completed, full time position with substantial pay increase will occur. Interviews/training will be at our Puyallup location. Must have reliable transportation and be punctual. Must demonstrate having great people skills, be a good listener, and have great problem-solving skills. Must be able to start immediately. Training program will consist of:
- Oreck vacuum repair – Learn the workings of the four basic vacuum models that Oreck has produced over the last 65 years.
- Point of Sale training – Learn the cloud-based point of sale that is windows based and covers invoicing, customer look up, and product repair history.
- Oreck product knowledge- Obtain a full working knowledge of all Oreck products ( see Oreck.com).
- Sales training- Learn how to open a sales conversation, successfully demonstrate Oreck products by use of “The FAB” sales technique.
- Office paperwork flow- Learn paperwork flow to include sales reports, warranty requests, parts ordering, and customer follow up data.
This training program is self-paced but must be completed to expert level. After successful completion of training program, pay raise will occur. Estimated training completion is 3-5 weeks average. Actual times will be based on applicant’s ability.
Desirable work history would include retail sales background, any mechanical trades or training, computer skills, management positions, inventory control and warehousing. All Oreck skills, tools and training is a pay while you learn position.

Salary: $13.50 /hour. Earning potential $70K annually after training.
