Quarter 4 reporting starts
Jan. 1, 2020.

We've updated our Employer Toolkit!

Download the latest version for more information about employer responsibilities, benefits and quarterly reporting. Remember: No payroll? No report. You do not have to file a report for quarters where you had no hours worked or wages.

Benefits begin
January 2020.

Paid Family and Medical Leave is almost here! If you know an employee is planning to apply for leave in 2020, please share
PaidLeave.wa.gov/2019 with them. The site has resources like our:

* Parents' Guide (Learn more about applying for and taking bonding leave after the birth or placement of a child), and

* Patient and Family Guide (Learn more about applying for and taking family or medical leave to care for yourself or a family member), plus

* A sample notification to give to their employer(s),

* Information about the application process,

* An eligibility questionnaire,

* A list of acceptable identity verification documents, and the

* Certification of a Serious Health Condition form.

We're here to help

The system will be down for a couple of days while we deploy for benefits. This could happen as early as Dec. 20. Please visit PaidLeave.wa.gov/support for updates, more information and assistance with commonly asked questions if you are trying to report.

Minor changes to SAW login

A few questions will be coming soon to the Secure Access Washington (SAW) login. You may see a few additional security questions the next time you login for Paid Family and Medical Leave.
