New online training system
Members, we're excited to announce that this year we'll be providing your required WSC training via TalentLMS! This web-based, mobile friendly system will allow you to access training modules and assessments, keep an eye on due dates, and know which modules you've already completed.
Look for an invitation email from "waservicecorps" to create your account login and add NoReply@TalentLMS.com to your safe list to ensure your invitation doesn't go to your junk/spam folder.
Don't delay! There are four trainings due within the first two weeks of your term.
If you don't see an email by Sept 5, please email our Training Specialist, Sabrena Neff.
Health care benefits
Members, if you accepted health care coverage through WSC, you'll be receiving an email from us with plan benefits and coverage details. This information is also posted on our website.
Welcome!
We are so excited to kick off a new program year with you! Each of us at WSC are here to help you succeed in making a positive difference in communities across our state.
September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance is a day of unity and service across our nation. On this day, WSC members are encouraged to take part in an activity that supports first-responders of all kinds. WSC staff will be traveling to Joint Base Lewis-McChord and serving at Fisher House, an organization that supports military families.
If your site will be hosting a service activity in honor of 9/11 Day, please let us know!
Member timesheets
Timesheets are due twice each month (shortly after the 15th and last day) and are submitted and approved in TimeTracker.
Except for ESD/WorkSource staff and members, new members and new site staff will need to create a SAW account in order to use TimeTracker.
Site staff, please go to your WSC resources page and follow the steps to get set up and learn how to use the system.
Members, look for the TimeTracker training module when you create your TalentLMS account.
Food assistance
Depending on total household income, AmeriCorps members may be eligible for SNAP ("Basic Food") assistance through DSHS.
