Lake Burien Transitional Care Facility Admissions Process
At the Lake Burien Transitional Care Facility, we are committed to providing youth with the highest quality care and support during their transitional journey. To better serve our community and streamline our application process, we have established the following schedule for reviewing applications, admissions and site visits:
Application Review: Every Monday, the LBTCF application review team will assess all incoming applications that the Dedicated Review Committee has moved forward. We aim to ensure that each submission receives the attention it deserves, and we appreciate the patience of all applicants during this process.
Admissions: Admissions take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, allowing the team to focus on welcoming new youth into our facility and ensuring they transition smoothly into our program.
Off-Site Visits for Assessments: We schedule offsite assessment visits on Wednesdays and Fridays. These site visits are a valuable opportunity for youth and family members to meet with our team and ask any questions about our programs and services.
Our clinical team conducts a final review after the assessment visit, and admission decisions are typically made within 7-10 business days after our facility receives an application. This timeline may vary based on individual cases.
Thank you for your interest in services provided by the Lake Burien Transitional Care Facility. We look forward to working together to support the youth in our care through each step of their transitional journey. For more program information, please contact us at 206-690-3800.
