Notification to providers of important candida auris information
This notice is for providers’ immediate awareness and prevention of Candida auris infection. Candida auris is an emerging multidrug resistant fungal infection that has caused difficult to control outbreaks in health care facilities outside of Washington state. Strict adherence to routine health care infection prevention activities is effective in preventing the spread of candida auris in health care facilities.
