Anticipated changes to temporary rate increase for staffed residential home and group care facility providers
Effective July 1, 2022, the temporary rate increase for community residential providers is decreased 20 percent from the current amount. This temporary rate increase changes from current 11.3% to 7.3% in order to reduce the cost of the increases in accordance with the ESSB 5693 (2022 Supplemental Budget Bill) Section 204(1)(u), which states that, “Beginning July 1, 2022, the rate add-ons shall be reduced by 20 percent every two fiscal quarters.”
