COVID-19 Vaccine - Prioritization Guidance

Developmental Disabilities Administration

January 25, 2021

The Washington State Department of Health developed guidance for COVID-19 vaccine allocation and prioritization. Due to an initial limited supply of vaccine, there is not enough to offer everyone.  Currently DOH is determining eligibility under Phase 1b through their online Phase Finder tool. Individuals classified as Phase 1a remain eligible for the vaccine as well. Please see attached infograph for more details on Washington State's vaccination phases and the COVID-19 vaccine rollout timeline.

We have developed a few FAQs to help determine whether you meet Phase 1a or 1b and to navigate available resources:

How do I know if I am eligible to be vaccinated? Use the DOH Phase Finder or consult with your primary care provider.

What is the DOH Phase Finder? It is the online tool to find out if you are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine.

If you are not eligible yet, you can provide your contact information and the Washington State Department of Health can notify you when you become eligible. You can also check back later.

If you are eligible, you can print or use the screen shot of the confirmation page from the DOH Phase Finder. You should be prepared to share that confirmation along with an identification card to the vaccine provider as proof of eligibility.

Where do I go to get the COVID-19 vaccine?

Use the DOH Vaccine Location to see if it is available near you or contact your primary care provider.

For more information about who is eligible for the vaccine and when, please see the DOH prioritization and allocation.
